ATS-AA Cable Fire Retardant Coating is a water-based fireproof coating specially developed for wires and cables. Manufactured in accordance with GA181-1998 and tested against GB28374-2012, it combines safety, durability and environmental protection.

Formulated with a water-based tertiary propylene emulsion, fire retardants, and plasticizers, this coating provides superior flame resistance. Upon exposure to fire, it forms a dense, sponge-like thermal insulation layer, effectively blocking flame spread and protecting cables.

  1. Surface Preparation – Clean cables from dust, oil and debris. Ensure surface is dry.

  2. Application – Apply by spraying or brushing. Stir evenly before use. If too thick, dilute slightly with tap water.

  3. Coating Process –

    • For plastic/rubber sheathed cables: Apply β‰₯5 coats, total thickness 0.5–1 mm, approx. 1.5 kg/mΒ².

    • For oil-paper insulated cables: Wrap with glass cloth before coating.

    • For outdoor/humid environments: Apply a clear varnish topcoat.

    • Outstanding moisture, salt mist, oil, heat, aging and freeze resistance
  4. Precautions – Protect freshly applied coating from water, sunlight, contamination, bending or movement until fully cured. Repair any damage immediately.
