🔎 Product Overview
The Linear Heat Detector Cable (LHDC) provides continuous fire and heat detection along its entire length. Unlike point detectors, it can sense elevated temperatures anywhere along the cable path, making it ideal for areas where conventional detectors are impractical.
When the ambient temperature reaches the cable’s fixed activation point, the heat-sensitive insulation softens, allowing the internal conductors to make contact. This creates an electrical short that triggers the fire alarm system. LHDC is available with activation temperatures of 88°C and 105°C, suitable for various industrial and commercial applications.
